India’s supermarket chain, HyperCITY Retail has recently roped in Ramesh Menon as its CEO in a series of new executive level appointments and reshuffles. The company has also named Hemant Tarware as COO (chief operating officer), Yogesh Bisht as VP-HR and Manoj Jain as VP- Marketing, Loyalty & Visual Merchandising.
The changes follow the expansion of the executive management team, in December 2015 and will ensure the company maintains its strong customer relationships and solid business foundation aimed at aligning the company's strategic focus to sustain its momentum, the company said in a statement.
Menon who has assumed his new role from 3rd February, has over 25 years of cross cultural, general management, experience in multinationals across India, Middle East and Africa and brings extensive and diverse experience in the areas of FMCG, retail and manufacturing and telecom, said the company. Prior to this, Menon was the National Head- Wireless (GSM) Operations at Reliance Communications.
