One of India's largest department store chains Shoppers Stop, , has roped in Debasish Gupta to head its marketing, loyalty and analytics division, as part of its omni-channel strategy.

One of India's largest department store chains Shoppers Stop, , has roped in Debasish Gupta to head its marketing, loyalty and analytics division, as part of its omni-channel strategy.

Gupta has taken controls from Vinay Bhatia who had joined rival Future Group a few months ago.

Salil Nair, CEO, Shoppers Stop.said that as Shoppers Stop reinforces its omni-channel strategy, it was vital for the brand to find the right person to lead and grow its marketing efforts, carry the mantle of change-management and bolster its brand equity and fashionability.

Gupta, who has worked with conglomerates such as Godrej and Tata, was earlier with Marks & Spencer as its marketing head.
