Tata Coffee has appointed Sanjiv Sarin as MD and CEO of the company for a period of three years. Sarin comes with over 38 years of experience in a variety of significant roles.
He is at present working in the capacity of a 'CEO Designate' and replaces Hameed Huq who has been the Managing Director of the company.
Previously, Sarin occupied the position of Regional President - South Asia of Tata Global Beverages for the past four years. During the course of his term, Sarin made a significant contribution to strengthen Tata Global Beverages' position in the country's branded tea market.
Tata Coffee is a subsidiary of Tata Global Beverages and it produces more than 10,000 tonnes of shade-grown Arabica and Robusta coffees at its 19 estates in South India. Its two Instant Coffee manufacturing facilities have a combined installed capacity of 8,400 tonnes.
