Usha International will soon call for a pitch from advertising agencies to promote its kitchen appliances. 
"We plan to re-energise our kitchen appliances segment and add more innovative products to it. There will be several new product launches in this category in the next two-three months," said Ramesh Chembath, the company's business head for this segment. 
Chembath, who was with Godrej Appliances earlier, recently joined Usha International to steer its growth plans. 
The company is looking for creative agencies which can handle multimedia campaigns and also plan below-the-line promotional activities. Its media agency is Carat.

The company recently launched infinity cook halogen oven, on-the-go series and nutrichef series of kitchen appliances. "We have been aggressively introducing innovative products which promote health and fitness among end consumers," Chembath said. 
According to the company, it has an annual turnover of Rs 2,000 crore. It makes products in diverse categories including electrical kitchen appliances, fans, sewing machines, power products, water coolers and dispensers, inverters and auto components.
