Sales of diamond jewelry have been growing especially with lightweight everyday wear and statement pieces,” commented Suvankar Sen, MD and CEO, Senco Gold & Diamonds.

Moreover, the brand is also witnessing a surge in demand for men’s jewelry, especially in form of chains and rings.

“We think this Diwali will be marginally better for our industry compared to the high base and performance last year, expecting the standard low double-digit percentage of sales in value terms for the season. We are also witnessing a substantial shift to digital mode of payments and we are also encouraging the same for faster service to customers,” concluded Suvankar Sen.
