New Delhi: Apparel manufacturer Arvind is planning to launch another portal this year and the firm is also looking for acquisition in this space, says an Economic Times report citing Kulin Lalbhai who is handling retail and e-commerce initiatives.
Recently, the fabric maker had launched a website for custom clothing -- Creyate. This website helps customers to conceptualise and create their own clothing.
The firm has said that even the upcoming website will add a new pattern to online apparel retailing. The company aims to garner Rs 1000 business from its e-commerce business.
Customers in Creyate stores can visualise and craft their creations with iMacs and their orders are routed online. Recently, the firm has opened its offline store in Mumbai. It says that that it will open more pop-up Creatye stores in select cities.
"So basically, while offline gives them an exposure and experience, all business happens online," the ET report quoted Lalbhai.
