FindYahan, a Gurgaon-based hyper local marketplace for services has secured the second round of funding.
Hyperlocal services are making news with yet another online marketplace, FindYahan, gaining funds in second round of funding. The funding was led by The Pheonex Fund. However, the amount raised has not been disclosed yet. The online marketplace is a bridge between skilled individuals and home business to their target customers. The fund raised will be invested in order to expand its operation, technology and customer service and experience fronts.
Founded in the year 2013 by Rachit Mathur and Snehil Khanor, the company currently claims to have over 1,000,000 users, over 4,000 supplies and 50,000+ downloads from Google Play Store.
These days, hyperlocal services have created a buzz in the market for similar start-ups. LocalOye, UrbanClap and Qyk have also secured substantial funding from the investors. This buzz is due to the rapid growth of the mobile space. Smartphone penetration has increased dramatically and such services now make more sense and get early traction. FindYahan has performed very well to mark a presence in the NCR market and now looking to scale up their case with a solid product.
