Stitchwood.com, a custom-made furniture seller is all set to raise an angel funding of $716,000. The deal is likely to happen within the next two-three months.
With this new funding, the company will launch a new feature which will range from a home visit by a furniture expert to a customer’s place. They are also in talks internally to add more manpower to the team.
Founded by two IIT Mumbai alumni, Ajit Shegaonkar and Vikash Nair, Stitchwood offers customised furniture service to its customers. One can also upload pictures or designs as per their wishes. The business follows a vendor outsourcing model, post which the company’s quality team monitors the product’s manufacturing, at the vendor’s factory. The company recently secured a $1000,000 funding from Bridge Equity.
