Good News for Start-ups: Government to show leniency on tax

Government to provide exit policy, easier registration norms and visible tax regime that will motivate start-ups.

Talking about the start-ups in India, Commerce and Industry Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said “Simple exit policy, easier registration norms and visible tax regime will be provided to motivate start-ups. Incidentally, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley spoke about easing taxation and initiatives that will favour the start-ups to function”.
While communicating on Twitter, she said, "Government is working towards ensuring transparency, simplification and predictability in tax structure and will provide easier registration, compliance and exit (norms), a conducive tax regime and stronger incubation network".
Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will unveil an action plan for start-ups.
With connection to the biggest outcome of 'Start up India', Nirmala Sitharaman said: "It will be a greater synergy between the startups, venture funds, seed funds, incubators, industry and the government".
The minister also said that Centre would reach out to the states on promoting budding entrepreneurs. Also, school curriculum is becoming dynamic to include thoughts about start-ups.
