Electronics major Samsung is planning to set up a manufacturing facility in the state with an investment corpus of $100 million in Telangana, according to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
."Our Ministers for IT and industries are going to discuss (the proposal) with Samsung. Hyderabad has a large scope for electronics and hardware industry. Samsung is expected to come to Hyderabad with $ 100 million investment in electronics and hardware industry," said Rao.
“By the end of next year, the power supply situation in the State will improve and the Government would ensure that industries get quality electricity without interruption. The new industrial policy and 24-hour power supply to industries will make Telangana an attractive destination for investments," added Rao.
The chief minister has set up a cell in his office that would ensure speedy clearances for setting up industries in the State and the minister would personally monitor its functioning.
