LeEco, Chinese internet technology ecosystem company, is betting high on Epic 919 festival. The company is expecting to achieve a target of Rs 100 crore sales in 25 hours during its upcoming shopping festival called 'Epic 919'.
One of the company's officials informed that LeEco expects to touch sales of Rs 100 crore in 24 hours during its upcoming online shopping festival Epic 919. The festival will float some enticing offers to its customers which will be available for 24 hours starting from midnight of September 19 19 on LeMall.com and Flipkart.
During the shopping festival, company will offer deals worth Rs 495 million including special prices on LeEco smartphones. Expanding further, Atul Jain, COO, Smart Devices, LeEco India said that company aims to sell 70,000-75,000 smartphones and about 2,000 TVs during the one day event. In 24 it plans to roughly touch sales of Rs 100 crores. Last year, during the same event in China, company sold 5,00,000 LeEco smartphones in a single day.
LeEco wants to make a bigger push in the India market, which is the fastest growing smartphone market in the world and also the most competitive. It has started selling phones in the offline market through select stores, with plans to reach 8,000 retail outlets by December. The company is awaiting grant of a single brand retail license, which will help it open up about 10 own branded stores.
According to Jain, the company owned outlets will sell all LeEco products along with LeEco memberships and some stores will have service centers attached to them. The size of the company owned stores will range from 600 sq.ft to 1,500 sq.ft.
