Mahindra came up with three two-wheeler products, the Centuro and the Gusto in the market but they did not do much successfully as the 300cc Mojo, which too did not succeed on the runaway in terms of sales but has established itself as a well-known brand. Recently the company made an announcement regarding the purchase of the rights of the BSA (for Europe and the US) and Jawa (for India) brands, the company revealed about its two-wheeler plans for future.
For the loss it bore for the two-wheelers, it has decided to shift its focus away from them and will instead focus on building the Mojo into an umbrella brand, much like Bajaj's Pulsar, by modifying its engine and customizing the look of the same bike.
It has decided to cut down the price of the other two scooters from the advertising end and utilize it in enhancing the bike.
This will be kept separate from the Classic Legends brand which will make classic motorcycles sporting the BSA and Jawa badges.
